History
Amidst terraces of
orchards
and olive groves . The
town of stone built houses painted white and pink clustering about
the solid mass of a crusader keep ( 27 m ) high rising from a mount.
The white tower “Castel Blanc” can be viewed from miles distance on
the way to Safita. A major knights Templars stronghold, catured by
Sultan Baibrs in 1271.. |
